Feeling a yen for culture? You’ll want to check out the many arts & entertainment venues in Downtown Frederick. The National Trust for Historic Preservation designated us a Great American Main Street in 2005 and named us a “Dozen Distinctive Destination” in 2002 – and we’ve got about a dozen art galleries adding to that distinctiveness. museums, photography studios, and theatres also contribute to our cultural flair.  Downtown Frederick is a designated Arts & Entertainment District.
