As you browse at the following stores, pick up a flower and build-a-bouquet. Each merchant listed below will be offering flowers to browsers & shoppers while supplies last.

Wandering Street Entertainment -You won’t believe your eyes when local magician, Denny Grizzle, performs for you! 12 - 2pm. Street entertainer, Jonathan Burns will amaze you with tricks and laughter from 2 - 4pm.

Sidewalk Chalk Art - Local art students and merchants are vying for the crown of best spring chalk art.

Live Music - Great local and regional musicians will play live on the streets of downtown. Enjoy acoustic performances in a range of styles from country, pop, blues and rock.

Children’s Activities - Kids will take home lots of great crafts including make-your-own-visors, sand art, fairy wands and more!

The Greene Turtle - 50 Citizens Way - Crawl on into the turtle & enjoy lunch on our beautiful outdoor patio while you soak up those rays! Don’t forget your flower on your way out!

Live Music - Carroll Creek Trellis - Enjoy the addictive blues music of Automatic Slim as you walk the Creek. 12 - 2pm.

Sand Art - Carroll Creek - Join the fight against breast cancer by enjoying a sand art activity. Donate to the cause and receive a pink carnation.

Hanging Basket Sale - 22 S Market - Purchase a hanging basket for your yard from Frederick garden clubs and help raise funds to maintain the new large hanging baskets in downtown! Don’t forget to make a wish in the “wishing basket.”

Decorate-a-Visor - 1 N Market - Decorate your very own foam visor with spring flowers or bugs on the steps of BB&T Bank! Wear for Mayfest or anytime!

Dancing Bear Toys & Gifts - 12 N Market - Give your new gyro-ring a spin, or test your twirling skills with some Lunastix! Register to win our “Spring into Fun” basket giveaway!

The Muse - 19 N Market - Handmade paper that you can plant! Created by the members of the Scott Key Center who will be on hand during the day.

Act TOO! - 30 N Market - Local children’s theatre group Act TOO! will be performing some musical numbers and a skit or two to help celebrate spring in downtown Frederick! 10 - 11am & 1 - 1:30pm.

Live Music - 30 N Market - Hear the amazingly mature voice of 18 year old, Mindy Miller. Her soulful melodies and meaningful lyrics will inspire. 11am - 1pm.

Zaruba & Zaruba - 35 N Market - In Bloom Jewelry...meet the artist and creator of In Bloom Jewelry, Stacey Krantz. Her exquisite line of sterling silver and 18K gold jewelry is inspired by nature and just in time for summer.

McGuire Fine Arts - 110 N Market - Internationally celebrated floral painter, Brian Davis will be at the gallery from 1 - 3pm for Mayfest! Take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet the artist and have him personally dedicate your artwork.

Brewer’s Alley - 124 N Market - Brewer’s will have a food tent featuring Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Gumbo and Fruit Smoothies from 11am - 4pm. The puppy patio will be open from noon till 9PM as well. (dine with your dog outside).

Live Music - 2nd & Market - Enjoy piano styling with touches of quirkiness from Brian Lotter. He will play his eclectic originals along with a few covers. 4 - 6pm.

Social Study - 201 N Market - New art installation by graphic/graffiti artist Jack Sanger. Stop by, meet the artist & buy yourself some fly new sneakers for Spring!

Velvet Lounge - 203 N Market - Flowers, Flowers Everywhere! Please visit the Velvet Lounge Maiden of Spring. Her dress is made entirely out of “real” flowers!

Weinberg Center for the Arts - 20 W Patrick - 24/7 Dance Studio presents The Who’s Tommy. Pete Townshend’s electrifying tale of a young boy’s journey from tragedy to triumph is an unforgettable rock musical experience. Showtime 2pm.

Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center - 40 S Carroll - Our exhibits include “Into the Singularity” paintings by Tom Block; “Space Imagined” paintings by Brook Overline”; “Recent Pastels” by Lou Gagnon; “Touchstones: Earth and Bone” by Novie Trump; and “Amelia Island” photography by Palma Allen. Story time & Interactive Dance Session - 253 E Church Patio - Come dressed in your favorite dance costume and enjoy story time with an Angelina Ballerina book and then join in the fun of dancing like Angelina! 2 - 3pm.

Natural Fusion Hair Studio - 246 E Sixth - Pick up flowers for your Mayfest bouquet and pick up a special gift when you mention the Mayfest brochure.
