Begin your Independence Day early with The Great Frederick Float, Thursday, July 3rd from 5 - 9PM!  Enjoy children's activities, music, dancing, a beer garden, and A BOAT PARADE/CONTEST!!  Prizes to be awarded!  Individuals, organizations, companies, or families can enter a non-motorized boat into the contest.  Decorate your boat in Red, White, and Blue and compete with your friends, neighbors, and the Downtown Frederick community!  Entry deadline is June 30, 2008.  Great fun for everyone!
