Downtown Frederick Partnership follows the Four Point Approach to Revitalization

called for by the Main Street Center of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. 

Mission Statement

Enhance, promote and preserve the vitality of Downtown Frederick

Design Committee  

Sell State tax credits to continue implementation of the Façade Improvement Project

Implement wayfinding system enhancements

Participate in long-term planning for major tenants to stay downtown

Support the downtown express

Develop a streetscape improvement plan

Participate in land use and transportation planning for the East Street Extended Area

Support the enhancement and expansion of the alleyway system

Strengthen downtown businesses through a coordinated training program

Work to streamline the signage approval process

Coordinate Downtown Alive @ Five during the summer months

Advertise & promote Late Night Fridays

Continue the Downtown Frederick tear off maps
